    So……..tired

Well I am officially exhausted. After a 12 hour shift or two with Jim and the crew and feeling under the weather this weekend I don’t want to go anywhere or do anything, but that is not really an option. I got a couple of phone calls today for some new work. One was from a guy named Z. Called me out of the blue because of some work I did a few weeks ago, so we’ll see how that turns out. He has an artist coming out next year called “Junior Boy.” sounds hot so we will see what he’s about. Anyway I have a BIG meeting tomorrow with Infinite Appeal. Should be interesting. One of my biggest projects so far. I am really just the “media manager” so to speak because for the first half of this project I am just managing people and assets, kinda like the Executive Producer. Anyway it’s a huge video project coming in March and I can’t wait to see what the team can do. I really come into the scene during post production, (DVD publishing, design, composition, sales, etc.) Anyway gotta work -PEACE

    Let's talk Software

So I am wokring with Crystal Ball and it is official it is one of the most complicated and frustrating add-ins (excel) I have ever had to deal with. The program drove me up the wall for like 6 days. First I couldn’t get the damn thing to run when I need it the most and then when I did it would trash every 15 minutes or so. The licence on it expires tomorrow so I know I will be getting some phone calls regarding continued use. I think is great and would like to extend my trial period because as of right now it is easier to use some oether methods besides Monte Carlo. Anyway that is all I wanted to say about software right now. I will talk about some other more interesting software later.

    PEACE

    Fade to Black

Fade to black was really and awesome “autobiography.” I went into the theatre with an open mind and assuming nothing and I recieved a treat. I think that Jay-Z is one of the greatest and after seeing this movie I have a greater respect for not just Jay but also the producers and other artist in the music game. Now back to the movie; The movie to me is inspirational, and I am sure that Jay-z’s career is inspirational to so many. One can only sit back and enjoy seeing what went into the Black album and the album means so much more after watching the film. I appreciate the concept and dedication Jay personally put into the film, and I respect him for taking the time to have every move recorded (thought I am sure there is plenty edited out). Overall, though I am biased I will give the film a 4 out 5, there was only one thing I wish I could have seen more of and that is Marcy and a little bit more of his past. I understand however that reflection is time consuming and looking back to much slows down progress. Secondly a look into the future would have been nice, to show the world where Jay-z will be, or wants to be, in say 5 years. Either way I the film was great and Jay, to me and many, is the greatest of all time.

    Well, Well, Well

Ok I am officially tired and I know that I will have to get some rest some time before the end of the World. Anyway school is going much better for me know that I can actually get some sleep before class. I think that I just really needed to evaluate some of the things in my life and prioritize them. School is second, falling second only to love(God, Family, “some” friends). I am trying to find some time to start putting more work in to project X. I would really like to get this thing off the ground and hopefully will find the time to do so. There is so much that needs to go in to the site that I don’t really know what to do, I think I will just have to make time for it just like anything else important in my life.

to give you a feel of what my life consist of here we go (*not in order of importance):
God (My savior, my lawyer, my doctor, my everything)
Church… and yes there is a difference (Trinity AME Church)
EQ (my home away from home)
    Jdotmedia (my home)
    Project X – extension
    Music (new life)
    Toys (gas in the car)
Family and Friends (My heart — the list goes on forever)
    School (Georgia State University)
… and yes there is more but can’t really throw it out there like that.

Anyway now that I think about I have to go… check back in later and finish this post.

    PEACE -Jdot

    I'm 22 and I am still in the game…

Happy birthday to me… happy birthday to me. Well sort of. My birthday was on the 6th and it was overall an enjoyable experience. It may be early but 22 to me was just like 21 and not much different. Last year I set some goals on my birthday and I reached about 80% not bad I don’t think. Though I haven’t taken the time to set the goals of my next fiscal year, I look forward to doing that this weekend. Anyway happy birthday to me… happy birthday to me. Also I would just like to say thank you to all of those people I love who showed up and a speacial “type out” to everyone who showed up ON TIME! Thanks

    Dawn on a new day!

    I am officially declaring November 2nd 2004
“Get Bush out of the White House Day.” Yes it is long but you get the point. I have a lot of strong feelings, and a lot to say about both of the candidates, but honestly it would take me days to say it all, so I will just say this.
America we need a fresh start. I am neither Democrat nor Republican but tomorrow I will vote for the man that makes me feel the best about the future. Not just my future but the future of some of my classmates (in the military), friends, family, and God willing my future children. I am not one to judge anyone, or at least I try my best, but something has to change and that change is to get Bush out of the office. I will end this with a quote from my business partner Chris as it captures the essence of what I am thinking; I can write a book on all the shit Bush did that I don’t approve of…but I can’t even count on one hand the number of things he did that I do approve of.”
…and regardless of the weather which appears to be pleasant in this area (Georgia) I DARE and petition everyone to get up off the couch, you are sitting there because you have no job, and GO VOTE!

    VOTE OR DIE!

Thanks for the quote there J….I know come hell or high water I’ll be at the polls in a few hours….one, because we really do need some change in this country…and two, because South Park said that P. Diddy is going to hunt down, and kill, everyone that doesn’t vote this year. VOTE OR DIE!
