  • Web Analytics Spending on the Rise?

I ran across this article about two months ago, so this will be old news to some. Regardless, I thought I would take a moment, to share my thoughts on why this is not only good news to analytics software providers, but important news for marketers.

The reality is that more and more marketers are beginning to engage their customers and prospective customers in new and more social ways. With this fact staring many marketers in the face, the tracking and measurement of these new mediums will become more and more important. I believe the saying is; “He who owns the data makes the decisions.” Well with more and more users owning their own data (sort of) I would venture to say that it’s actually he who understands the data makes the better choices. The truth is new media and new technology usage will continue to rise, and analysis and qualitative measurement tools will be required in order to show the true effectiveness of these new mediums.

  • Fresh ideas for eMarketing

If you are reading this article you are probably reading this article because of the rather absurd title, or maybe out of curiosity. You may be asking yourself, “This must be the first chapter of a book, because this can’t be answered on a blog.” Well that is partially true, this topic can’t be answered with a single post on a blog, but I do intend to give you my perspective on that topic and many others. Fuze is here to give insight into the different components of eMarketing and how each piece will fit together. I look forward to your feedback and welcome your comments. I hope that this site ignites the fuze to your creativity and opens the door to new opportunities.

What up everybody I know that I have been out of touch but I can say that I have been really really really busy and it is pushing me to the edge, but I have kept my cool and I am ready for any challenges. Anyway to explain the title. My Uncle Eric just settled down and decided to get married to a lovely woman named Paula. She is great and they make a wonderful couple. Well you are probably asking what does that mean to Jdot. Well it means that I spent 4 1/2 days in Houston, Texas, hence the title of the post. Overall seems like a really nice place and I look forward to going back one day when there is more time to enjoy the surrounding. Anyway gotta go but i just wanted to say congrats to the Mr. and Mrs Eric Dawkins.

    POST PICS LATER

    PEACE UP, A-Town Down

I would just like to take this moment in time to congratulate my sister and welcome her to the world of Blogging.

To (to acknowledge some things that we talked about before.)
    1. I told you it was easy!
    2. Yes, I like the name, “High Thread Count” sounds really interesting
    3. Now all you have to do is edit the code and customize it a little with some photos and stuff.

    and now my questions.
    1. Where did the name come from?
    2. Is it as easy as I said it was?

Sorry that I have not posted in a while. I am still very busy and landing a couple of projects a week. now I just have to find the time to actually complete something. It is really funny though because this is what i have always wanted. Basically I am getting to where I want to be and now I am like totally shocked at the amount of contracts I have open now. it is really almost funny. Anyway I am pretty sure that I will be teaming up with some people relatively soon.

    Coming up or in progress:

    Print:
    Carribean Relief Project
    Jozey Wellz logo
    Jozey Wellz flyer design
    Hairizm Corporate Identity

    Web:
    oscDVD
    new Creekside pottery site
    Hairizm corporate website

that is the short list… I can’t remember the rest, i will update as soon as I can. I will keep in touch a little more often hopefully.
    PEACE

  • School, books... I almost forgot

Well I started the semester back in school today and sure enough I am already “tired.” My schedule consist of Graphic Design, Advertising Campaigns (fun class), Marketing Research, Sales Management (yes another Marketing class), and Business Communications. O’ what fun it is to be me. It’s cool though because I am deep into my major work and look forward to actually learning something at Georgia State. 3 out of those 5 classes are GROUP oriented so it will be interesting to see how that pans out as far as time is concerned. Anyway gotta work, so everyone be safe and see you soon.

    PEACE
